Adaptive Dance - for Children with Down Syndrome
In Partnership with CHKD and Down Syndrome Association of Hampton Roads
The TRDance Center is an exciting, demanding environment of working professional dancers and teachers. The Adaptive Dance Class is for children with Down Syndrome and is a partnership among TRDance, CHKD, and DSAHR. The adaptive dance class is based on the work of Boston Ballet and is conducted as a dance class. The class is taught by a dance instructor and a physical therapist from CHKDparticipates in the class. Several volunteers assist the children as well. A minimum of ten students is required to hold the class. There are no make - up classes and fees are non - refundable
Two TEN Week Dance Sessions! $165.00 per child each session Saturdays from 8:00 - 9:00am
Session I: September 10 - November 19, 2011 (no class on October 1st for the Buddy Walk) Session II: March 24 - June 9, 2012 (No class on April 14 & May 26) School show: June 16 Scholarships available on a limited basis through gifts made to Todd Rosenlieb Dance. GENERAL INFORMATION
School Closings: In the event of inclement weather, TRDance Center will close in accordance with the Norfolk Public Schools.
In addition, please check our answering machine for messages regarding closings.
Payment information: TRDance Center accepts the following forms of payment: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, cash, checks
and money orders. There will be no refunds for classes. In the event of a long term illness or injury a credit for future classes
will be considered. Returned check fee: $25.00
Parking: TRDance will validate a portion of your parking at the Freemason Street Garage conveniently
located directly behind the studio. Street parking may be available without charge until 9:00AM.
