Master Classes 2006

TRDance Center is an exciting, demanding environment of working professional dancers and teachers. Company dancers, as well as leading choreographers, composers and designers are a constant energizing presence in the building, motivating the students to achieve their highest goals.

At the Center, students will have the opportunity to learn a variety of dance forms including Modern dance, Ballet and Tap. Whether they aspire to a professional career, or simply wish to dance for sheer pleasure, our students expect and benefit from, skilled, dedicated teachers who are committed to the proper training of dancers.

We offer creative movement, modern dance, ballet, jazz, tap and Pilates for all age groups. Classes are held six days a week, in a safe, creative environment.

CLASS RATES and PAYMENT INFORMATION

Single class - $12.00 _ 10 class card - $100.00
Trial Class - $15.00 _ Registration Fee (Lifetime) - $25.00

TRDance Center offers a convenient class card method of paying for classes. A student may purchase single classes or buy a class card entitling them to take any 10 classes within a given time frame. Much like a New York studio, this offers students and families the flexibility of designing their own schedules. Cards are kept at the registration desk for your convenience. Class cards expire 12 weeks from purchase.
Class Cards are non-transferable and non-refundable. TRDance Center accepts the following forms of payment: VISA, MasterCard, cash, checks and money orders. There is $25.00 returned check fee.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Class placement is at the discretion of the instructors.
Dress Code is at the discretion of the individual class instructors.
Shoe requirements: Modern and Pilates-barefoot; Ballet-Soft pink ballet slippers for women, black or white ballet shoes for men; Jazz-Jazz shoes or jazz sneakers; Tap-Tap shoes.
School Closings: In the event of inclement weather, TRDance Center will close in accordance with the Norfolk Public Schools. The Center will also close for the following holidays and breaks:
Labor Day: Monday, September 4, 2006
Thanksgiving Holiday: Wednesday, November 22-Sunday, November 26, 2006
Winter Break: Friday, December 22, 2006-Tuesday, January 2, 2007
Spring Break: Saturday, April 7-Sunday, April 15, 2007
Memorial Day Weekend: Saturday, May 26-Monday, May 28, 2007
Independence Day: Wednesday, July 4, 2007

The Center will also be closed for a special event for morning classes only from Thursday thru Saturday, March 1, 2 and 3, 2007. Evening classes during these dates will be held as usual.
