Todd Rosenlieb Dance performs an original modern dance repertoire as well as classical and contemporary ballet repertoire. The company blends classical and modern forms, the "downtown" spirit, hints of pop culture and a keen sense of musicality. An ecclectic sensibility allows for the use of a diverse music palette that ranges from Brahms to Rufus Wainwright.

This company of seasoned professionals have been presented by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, the Virginia Arts Festival, the Virginia Opera Association, the Indianapolis Symphony, the South Carolina Dance Festival, Piccolo Spoleto, Lorraine Graves & Friends at Martha's Vineyard, the Wellspring Project in New York, the "Yes Virginia Dance" concerts in Richmond, the mid-Atlantic regional choreographers festival in Norfolk, the "Small Dance" concerts in Harrisonburg, the American Cancer Society in Lancaster, PA, Kim Whittam and Dancers in New York, and by the Regional HIgh School Dance Festival, Virginia Musical Theatre and Lyric Opera of Virginia.

Repetoire includes works by Todd Rosenlieb and Ricardo Melendez, and by Erick Hawkins, Bill Evans, Jon Lehrer, and Kathy Brenner.

The company regularly collaborates Richmond Ballet in a production of The Nutcracker in December at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the Virginia Children's Chorus.

Todd Rosenlieb has been commissioned to create new works for Richmond Ballet, Ballets de San Juan, Nashville Ballet, University of Richmond, Goucher College, Shenandoah University, Sarah Lawrence College, New York University, James Madison University, among others.

Todd has worked in video projects with Twyla Tharp and Annie Lenox, and choreographed for Petula Clark. Major collaborations include "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" with the Virginia Children's Chorus, "Pocohantas", an original opera directed by Pam Berlin in collaboration with the Virginia Arts Festival and the Virginia Stage Company, staging for the Imani Quintet, dances in conjunction with the Goya exhibit at the Chrylser Museum, and many performances with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.

Recent projects include choreography for Bernstein's Mass, conducted by JoAnn Falletta, with the Virginia Arts Festival and an original production of "The Gift of Magi" with music by Adolphus Hailstork in collaboration with The Virginia Children's Chorus and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
