Upcoming Master Classes!

I am thrilled to announce our Fall lineup of Master Classes!

In October, Todd Rosenlieb will be teaching a Hawkins based Intermediate Modern Master Class on Sunday the 17th from 2-4pm.

Todd is the Artistic Director of Todd Rosenlieb Dance (which just celebrated its 15th anniversary), Chair of the Governor's School for the Arts Dance Department, choreographer, dance instructor and Pilates instructor. Todd Rosenlieb began his professional career in 1992 when Erick Hawkins selected him from a technique class to join his company in New York City. Named Company Director in the fall of 1995, Mr. Rosenlieb has since staged Hawkins repertory around the country, including the last piece of Hawkins’ choreography, Journey of a Poet.

Bellamy Eure will be teaching an Intermediate Contemporary Master Class on Sunday, November 7th from 2-4pm.

After training with Evelyn Ott, VBT, and Governor's School for the Arts (GSA), Bellamy went on to receive her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and was the recipient of the distinguished “Blumenthal Service to the School” and “Outstanding Performance in All Styles of Dance” awards. She then performed and toured with PHILADANCO for three years. Bellamy has since taught for the National High School Dance Festival, GSA, Hampton University, and ODU.

Our December Master Class will be Khyre Dean teaching Intermediate Hip Hop. This class will take place on Saturday December 11th from 4-6pm.

Khyre attended James Madison University as a Theatre and Dance Major through the Centennial Scholars Program and received training in musical theatre, jazz, ballet, and modern. While completing his studies, he joined both Mozaic Dance Team and Visual Distortions Dance Crew, honing his skills in Hip-Hop, Street Jazz, and Jazz Funk. He has travelled to both New York and Los Angeles, training at Broadway Dance Center, Debbie Reynolds, Movement Lifestyle, Millennium Dance, and Evolution Dance Studios. Khyre continues to train with noted local choreographers and is a member of CREWcial Dance Crew.

All Master Classes are open to dancers age 14 and up. Safety is top priority, so we are asking all attendees to wear masks while in the building and for the duration of all classes.
