In this class, students learn the building blocks of pole dance required to join the Vertical Barre Level 1 class.
Regardless of your long term goal for your pole journey, this is where it begins! Students will learn the basics: building core & grip strength, positions/terminology, how to properly warm up the body, and so much more!

This class is designed to build off the techniques you have learned in Intro to Vertical Barre.
You will learn how to limb, spin, as well as dance up, down, and around the pole. In this level, you will begin to learn how to link together individual tricks and techniques to start to create choreography and seamless pole dancing.

This class will also involve techniques to prepare you for inversions required to move on to Vertical Barre Level 2

This class is perfect for students who have been working on climbs, spins, and other Vertical Barre Level 1 techniques. In this class, students will learn more advanced versions of familiar climbs and spins while being introduced to inversions; all while adding a whole new dimension to their new-found strength and confidence.

SHAINA CRUEA
Originally from Virginia Beach, Shaina began her professional training at Virginia Governor's School for the Arts. In 2012, Shaina took her first pole dance class in NYC. She immediately fell in love with the combination of dance, athleticism, and grace. She began teaching in 2013, and after only one year, she became the U.S. National Pole Dance Champion. After successfully launching contemporary pole dance workshops and a pole dance clothing line, she is currently teaching, judging, and guest performing in 40 countries around the world.
